Here’s a testimony from one of the nurses in the team.

“Today we went to Papaye and I worked with Dr. Lee. We were able to share the Gospel with a woman and her child. The child was very afraid and would not let us touch her. She was moving her legs but would not walk or bear weight on them. The mother had taken the child to see a witch doctor when she got a fever that left her unable to walk and deaf. Dr. Lee shared with them about God’s love and peace and his power to heal her child. The mother allowed us to pray for them and after we prayed the child was no longer afraid, but was calm and smiling. The mother’s face no longer had the blank look she brought when she came in. We were able to examine the little girl and we also gave the mother a Bible in Creole and encouraged her to pray and read God’s Word.”
