Hello,
I recently returned from Haiti with a missions team. This was my 4th time there. I have a few questions. The team that went in, what were the specifics of the team? As far as doctors go, what type of doctors went? I am interested in going again but this time with doctors that have experience with assessing the type of problems associated with Haiti. I was asked to assess people there and all I was really willing to do was assess for anemia, give vitamins, iron, folic acid and teach how to care for impetigo. I felt very inadequate even though I have 30 yeaars experience in ED. I would love to be of help but also learn. I have been talking with an ED doctor about going with me and thught how great it would be for him to go with an experienced doctor. Thanks, Rosemary
