Letter from Haiti Endowment Fund
Hello my dear friend,
We are still heartbroken as we get all the reports from our teams in Hinche. We do believe that God is and will continue to be the only true and living God and he will be glorified.
All of us at H.E.F. have been unbelievably busy as we have geared up to minister to thousands of the earthquake victoms. Our team of five surgeons and support personell have worked over 20 hours each day. Jacob–I just find it difficult to even described what the actual sceen is.
We are continueing to take steps of faith to supply for the immediate needs, so we can keep many from dieing. Dozen’s actually just sitting on the floor waiting to be helped with broken or crushed legs and arms.
Let me share with you–our deep gratitude for the $4,500. and also the 20,000. Virtually all of this will go toward Haities immediate needs. We are giving all of our 18 Maranatha churches $1000. each to buy food etc for their families that have move in with them from Port-au-prince. They are coming out into the villages to find food, water and a place to sleep. There are hundred’s of families coming in after loosing everything that they had.
We believe that we are going to have delivery on this Saturday, of a full container of rice and beans from the Dominican Republic.
Jacob, PLEASE let everyone know that the gifts from Time Square Church have made this possible. Food is hard to get but God is helping us to line containers up like this and we are thanking God for these containers to continue to be release to us.
Keeping praying with us.
FROM OUR HEARTS — THANKS!!
